Cake Dominicano

A virtual cake decorating school, designed for enthusiasts eager to master the art of Dominican cake making and general baking techniques. The client was impressed by my previous work for a similar startup, "I Dream of Cakes," and sought my expertise from conceptualization through to development.

The project's success hinges on establishing a strong identity with an appealing look and feel, achieved through thoughtful use of color and typography. Recognizing the growing trend towards mobile internet use, I prioritized creating a responsive design. The website adapts seamlessly to hand-held devices, ensuring an optimal user experience across all platforms.

Development is ongoing, utilizing WordPress as the content management system. A custom theme specifically tailored for this project is in the works, incorporating various plugins to enhance functionality, performance, and responsiveness. The technical build involves HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries, and PHP. Additionally, tools like Photoshop and Illustrator were essential in creating logos, icons, backgrounds, textures, wireframes, and mockups for the site.

This project not only reflects my technical skills but also my commitment to delivering aesthetically pleasing and functional digital solutions.
